[MiniReview&Giveaway] Clearasil Vitamins and Extracts Daily Wash and Mask

-Product talk by Nuffnang-
Hello! How is everyone today? Hope you guys have enjoyed your weekends!

A few days ago, I was sent the Clearasil Vitamins and Extracts Wash and Mask to try out and I am here today to give you a mini review.
I have always been confident in Clearasil products; I have been using there products ever since my awkward, teenage years. As a teenager, like most others, I struggled with acne for many years but luckily for me my skin was responsive to the Clearasil products.
In this day and age, our lifestyle has become increasingly busy and stressful- many of us have adopted the attitude of 'work hard, play hard'. I know I certainly do. After working, I have neglected many aspects of my life and have been increasingly lazy with my skincare. As a result, my skin has become more dull  and I have seen more frequent breakouts in the past week.
Clearasil Vitamins and Extracts Wash and Mask has been designed for women who is in my position. I am sure many of you are quite busy too! What us great about is that it is a 2 in 1 product which means that not only is it a face wash, it can also be used as a mask!
The two key ingredients of this product is Avocado and Pomegranate. Both of these ingredients are not only beneficial to our health but for our skin as well.
As well as these core ingredients, the product also contains Vitamin E and glycerin for enhanced hydration as well as salycilic acid to prevent further breakouts.

What It Claims
Formulated with Avocado Extracts and nourishing Vitamin E, glycerine for hydration, as well as Pomegranate fruit extract, an anti-oxidant known to help keep skin looking and feeling healthy, these delicious smelling products cleanse gently and do not leave your skin over dried.

Smell: This product has an amazing smell. It is very refreshing and has the typical smell of products containing cucumber. If there was a perfume that smelt like this, I actually wouldn't mind smelling like this all day. I find that the scent really wakes me up in the morning.

Texture: The texture is very creamy, however, it is not heavy but rather light. The product does not foam up so it is very gentle on the skin.

As a face wash: It is a very gentle face wash and not stripping at all for a product containing salycilic acid. I could definitely feel that the moisturising properties as I didn't feel like I needed to put on moisturiser straight away as I usually do when I use some other face washes.

As a mask: To use this as a face mask, it was recommended to leave the product on the face for 3 minutes before washing off. When I used this as a face mask, I found that it didn't do anything extra for my skin.
My sister also tried this as a face mask- she has oily, typical teenage skin. She reported that she felt an uncomfortable, tingling on her pimples after a minute and so had to wash it after a minute, however, I didn't feel such discomfort.

Overall: So far, I think that it is a great face wash. I actually haven't been using face wash lately, only been using water since I found that the facial washes I was using to be quite drying. However, I will definitely continue using this one as it leaves more skin feel really soft and smooth.

I haven't used the product long enough to say anything about it's blemish control properties but I will certainly do an update when I have used product for another week or two. Please stay tuned for that!
